Richard Bruce Nugent's novel, Gentleman Jigger, first published in 2008, over twenty years after Nugent's death. Edited and with an introduction by Thomas H. Wirth, Nugent's literary executor, the novel is a tale of gay love, organized crime, and set in the excitement of social milieu of the 1920s Harlem Renaissance.
